• When compared with rolling more number of intricate shapes can be formed from this extrusion process.
• The surface is of higher quality in extrusion.
• Extrusion process is made through single operation where as in the process of rolling repetitive operations are done.
• Extruded section can be used some times in place of a section which requires more operations which is formed in other possible way.
