Production of Asphalt

The asphalt is produced in the refining operation of crude oil. In the refining process the crude oil is processed through a distillation tower. The atmospheric distillation tower is used as the primary unit in this processing. The crude oil is heated and fed into the atmospheric tower to continue its refinement and separate from one material to another. The materials according to their molecular weight s will be pulled off on their particular boiling points to produce gasoline, kerosene, and fuel oils. The residual is the total asphalt content in the crude oil. And thus the asphalt s produced and stored in a constant temperature to sustain its working properties in the future usage.
