The purposes of the manufacturers associations are develop standard specifications, to increase the inspection methods and to carry the test procedure in a better way. These manufacturers associations adopt the standards specified by the ASTM or ASA. Some of these organizations are the American association of state highway

and transportation officials, American institute of steel construction and American concrete institute. The manufacturers association complies with the standard specification and revises it on the process with time to time. They accomplish their purpose by discussing with other organizations and develop their ideas to innovate the specifications.
