Why SIPs Is Not Used In The Construction?

If the SIP is not used in the construction the first and foremost problems will arise is the heat insulation. This will make the construction more complicated. As the heat enters the walls from the exterior panels it will not flow automatically to the ground panel without he SIP. A single story SIP can be assembled without the help of large cranes when 4-8 foot panels are used, which cannot be used in any other system. In most of the SIP there is thermal insulation slightly at the corners by introducing a thermal bridge in order to make it a simple structural joint, which is difficult in any other system of construction. Framing of upper floors with open web joists provides cavities in which plumbing and other utilities can easily be located which is not applicable in other form of systems.  SIP's are relatively easy to modify at the sites. Removing the insulation's and inserting joists to the panels are easily done in the site.Due to a large difference in the SIP's and other systems, the major effect is on the manufacturing of other system unit will reduce which will be a disadvantage on its usage in small scale. Increasing demand of SIP is a threat to other system manufacturers because there production will be affected in this rapid growth of SIP.
