Asphalt distributor truck

An asphalt distributor truck is used to apply prime coat or tack coat to the surface of the pavement which is to be paved. This truck is a very convenient machine when the pavement process is done.

Functions of asphalt distributor truck:

• ·         The functions of the asphalt distributor truck are to spray the asphalt on the pavement surface which is in construction by pump.
• ·         The truck contains a tank with a heating system.
• ·         The distributor has a power driven pump and a system of spray bars and nozzles through which the asphalt is forced under pressure on the construction pavement surface.
• ·         The asphalt must be sprayed from the distributor so as to spread over the surface uniformly at a constant rate of application.
