Smoke Dampers and Fire Dampers

Purpose of installing Smoke Dampers:

• Smoke dampers are centrally wired and accompanied with ductwork or air opening systems.
• These smoke dampers get closed when the smoke gets detected.
• The alarm signal will show off the entrance of smoke.
• Smoke dampers will be enclosed with some smoke barriers such a walls, ceilings, doors etc.

Purpose of installing Fire Dampers:

• Fire Dampers can be used when fire barriers such as walls, partition, and flooring are embedded with duct work.
• When the temperature rises fire damper will get closed and resist the flame through the barriers.
• HVAC system uses dynamic fire dampers.
• In this system fire damper will get closed against the entrance of air.
